Role Purpose

The incumbent is to assist District Manager to oversee retail operations in designated district; deploy company policies and guidelines at shop level. He/She  is in the key position to motivate frontline staff to drive sales and achieve sales targets. He/She also needs to be responsible for training, coaching and managing frontline staff.



  • Assist District Manager to oversee daily shop operations and ensure compliance to company SOP, policies and guidelines
  • Manage and motivate team to achieve sales targets and ensure efficiency
  • Perform sales and inventory analysis, monitor safety stock level and effectiveness of auto replenishment
  • Generate sales data from CBR for District Managers for further analysis
  • Report sales performance and shop updates to District Managers on a timely basis
  • Assist District Manager to arrange rostering, including man power arrangement and leave planning
  • Handle frontline staff issues including new staff orientation, integration and training, performance management and frontline staff’s conflict
  • Ensure close communication between stores and office
  • Work closely with Marketing team to execute promotions, VM and sales events
  • Resolve customer complaints and needs by determining optimum solution, escalate issues to District Managers if necessary
  • Work closely with Administrative Manager and Sales Administrative Officer to handle shop administrative tasks, including shop supplies and equipment maintenance
  • Pay attention to business environment, e.g. no. of customer, renovation nearby, new competitors and sales trend.
  • Acquire product and industry knowledge
  • Well understand of basic sales concept & KPI to communicate and report to Market Manager and District Manager


Competency Specification




  • Tertiary education, preferably in business discipline






  • At least 4 years retail management experience
  • Well versed with retail concepts/KPIs, practices and procedures
  • Ability to analyze financial reports
  • Positive and hands-on
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to make sound judgement and problem solve adopting an analytical approach
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-tasking
  • Fluency in spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
