Assistant Engineer / Engineer (Infrastructure)
Job MatcherResponsibilities:
- Deploy and manage Windows/Linux servers and core systems infrastructure on physical or virtual machines
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Implement long-term improvements and enhancements.
- System Management include Windows/Linux/VM infrastructure, Active Directory, Exchange Server, WSUS, Antivirus and various other core service oriented protocols.
- Day to day operation include troubleshooting & administration
- Support internal users directly when needed
- Project planning, implementing and supporting the new technology solutions and upgrade as appropriate
- Perform periodical recovery drill test and recovery procedures to ensure the effectiveness of the disaster discovery plan
- Create and maintain system SOP
- Handle ad-hoc job tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Higher diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines, certificate holder of VCP / VCAP / MCSE / RHCE / CCNA is a plus
- Experience in support an enterprise level infrastructure platform.
- Experience in core Windows/Linux infrastructure
- Hands on experience in Server/SAN Storage
- Experience in Hypervisor Virtualization such as VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V including experience building a virtual infrastructure
- Experience with participating in disaster recovery and/or BCP design and testing
- Available for off-hours on call support or emergency support as needed
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Fresh graduate with good attitude will be considered
