Assistant Engineer

This position is to deal with product quality issues for cause analysis and continuous improvement. He/she is also tasked to look after engineering parts management on specification, sourcing and inventory consumption review and recommendation.

Key Responsibilities

• To work with Procurement Department, Finance Department and suppliers on engineering parts sourcing, consumption review and recommendation on minimum stock level and reorder quantity
• To work with quality team on analysis to damage, stain, product mixing, etc., in daily laundry operation
• To work with safety and various department representatives on all legal, ISO compliance and record keeping issues
• To enhance and/or define workflow and use of inspection tools for better product quality, safety procedures, productivity and operations performance

Requirements

• Holder of Diploma or High Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with ISO systems and legal compliance elements
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong documentation and presentation skill
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
