The postholder will be responsible for providing support to the full range of human resources management functions which include recruitment, appointment and termination, salary and benefits administration, performance management, and staff data maintenance. The postholder will also be responsible for the passage and accommodation arrangements for visiting guests and for staff on overseas trips.
(a)a recognized degree, or an equivalent qualification;
(b)at least three years of HR/administrative experience, preferably gained at a tertiary educational institution;
(c)strong sense of responsibility, proactive and detail-minded;
(d)strong interpersonal and organizational skill;
(e)good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua; and
(f)good computer literacy.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be made on a two-year contract, with possibility of renewal, subject to mutual agreement. A gratuity payment equal up to 10% of basic salary earned during the contract period will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
