Purpose of Job

Financials

  • Prepare and present financial reports for management meetings
  • Collect, interpret and review financial information and provide commentaries
  • Liaise with business functions on a wide range of operational issues
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Review daily bank reconciliations and liaise with Sales Team for unapplied receipts
  • Manage daily cash balances, forecast payments and ensure that cash flows are adequate
  • Take responsibility for, and supervise the work of, junior members of staff
  • Review payment of invoices and refund of deposits
  • Arrange internal audits and reviews matters
  • Complete tax filings and deal with matters relating to the IRD
  • Maintain banking relationships, negotiate new banking and credit services
  • Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures

Systems and Processes

  • Collaborate cross functionally to understand needs and propose appropriate solutions
  • Proactively work with business functions to support system migration
  • Support post-transitional system planning and integration
  • Anticipate challenges, estimate and resource management plans
  • Support in the development of the strategic roadmap
  • Work with E-Services Department to identify opportunities for automation
  • Benchmark, research and monitor industry’s best practices, standards and incorporate these into strategic planning
  • Implement approved solutions and monitor the systems roll-out, address planning gaps
  • Provide project oversight to ensure business requirements are fulfilled and risks are mitigated

Do you have the following?

  • Qualification of HKICPA or ACCA
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with 3 years’ audit experience, gain with a Big 4 or sizeable CPA firm
  • Strong experience in financial accounting and management reporting
  • Experience in systems integration is preferable
  • Flexible and innovative with good analytical and leadership skills
  • Attention to details, strong organisational and communications skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Finance Manager
