Assistant General Manager – Merchandising & Business Development

Legend Swimwear Factory Ltd

Major roles :

  • Effectively lead, manage and mentor the merchandising and business development teams to offer professional customer services when monitoring overall critical path from products development until goods delivery;  
  • Report to the CEO
  • Understand the market trend and carry out excellent customer’s relationship management to meet different markets’ / customers’ changing needs in a competitive way;
  • Set sales strategies and targets for different customers / sales regions and make efforts to meet and exceed related KPIs;
  • Station in Guangdong province ( 3-4 days per week )
  • Occasional overseas travelling required;

Requirements :

  • Diploma holder or above in Fashion / Textiles / Clothing or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ experience at managerial level in the apparel industry;
  • Mature, independent, pro-active, well-organized, creative and result-oriented;
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, problems solving and negotiation skills;
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in products development and production processes, preferably in the lingerie / swimwear areas, and North American experience & exposure, a definite asset;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Proficient in computer applications like MS Office / ERP system
