Job Description

To support the Head Sommelier in the running of Wine/Sake Department, providing a highly efficient and effective service, recommending customers on Wine/Sake with trained skills and expertise, and training staff on Wine/Sake.

Looking for…

  • WSET Wine Level 3 or above, or related certificates.
  • Sake certificate preferred. (SSI, WSET Sake Level 3)
  • Strong wine & sake knowledge and stock control, ability to develop and implement wine activities
  • Minimum 5 years’ wine services experience in fine dining restaurant or hotel industry, with Japanese restaurant experience preferred.
  • Adaptable to changing needs and demands, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and guest services skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English. Cantonese & Mandarin preferred.
  • Proven record of high selling skill.
