Assistant Human Resources Manager

We are currently seeking an Assistant Human Reosurces Manager at the Corporate Office located in Hong Kong.

Acting as the talent advisor for Wharf Hotels, the successful incumbent would drive brand transformation by developing, executing and managing a comprehensive talent acquisition and compensation and benefit strategies aligned to our management philosophy and bringing in top talents for critical roles. Partnering with Human Resources Manager, the incumbent will leverage our values and brand insights to ensure effective Talent Resource Management.

The Manager will have exposure to managing the talent landscape in Hong Kong, Greater China and the Philippines. The candidate will be responsible including but not limited to:

  • Create guidelines and execute talent acquisition strategy to identify high-potential talent for corporate level openings and critical roles at properties
  • Anticipate and project future hiring needs and adjust the strategy accordingly
  • Facilitate and reshape candidate assessment, selection and offer process
  • Design and champion a referral program for critical positions
  • Develop and manage key external resources and partnerships to fulfill staffing needs
  • Build relationship with all levels and champion brand proposition

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management or Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition / recruitment
  • Experience in hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Strong project management skills and results oriented
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
