Handling full spectrum of Human Resources function
Degree + 3 years of experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the operations comply with relevant Army’s policies and procedures, and are in line with the statutory requirements in Hong Kong.
Assist in handling full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including but not limited to recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, training & development, performance management, payroll, employee retention and communications, staff orientation, leave administrations, contract preparation and renewals, etc.
Take charge of employee onboarding and exit process
Assist in reviewing, updating and implementing HR administrative guidelines, procedures and policies.
Assist in conducting market research and survey, benchmarking best practices
Be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Human Resources Management System
Assist in handling employees’ compensation claims
Assist in organizing staff engagement events
Assist in the preparation various of reports, statistics, analysis, memorandums and correspondences as and when required
Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the superior(s)
REQUIREMENTS
An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ all-rounded HR working experience
Well-versed in HK Employment Ordinance, Employee Compensation Ordinance, and other HR related regulations is a must. Knowledge of Labour Relations Law in Macau is an added advantage.
Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing and web applications.
Multi-tasking, self-motivated, detail-minded, independent, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Handle sensitive information in confidential and professional manner
A team player with good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; service-oriented, pro-active and innovative
** Candidates with less experience will be considered as Human Resources Assistant
