We are now inviting application(s) for the following post in the Educational Technology & Publishing Unit:

Assistant Instructional Designer


The appointee will assist in the planning and development of online learning and self-instructional materials and in rendering instructional design, editing and project management/co-ordination services in the process of developing online learning, mobile learning, and self-instructional materials.


Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Chinese or English, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Education or a related discipline with at least 2 years’ post-qualification teaching or relevant working experience. Applicants should have excellent writing skills in and good command of Chinese and English, and preference will be given to those with teaching experience. On-the-job training will be provided for applicants with less experience.   

Shortlisted candidates are required to attend a trade test.


Terms of Appointment

Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract, subject to renewal by mutual consent.  The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits may include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, if applicable.
