Investment Services – Sales Development Department

Hang Seng's Investment Services business offers a full spectrum of investment products and services to both private and corporate investors. Our customers can invest in over 400 investment funds managed by reputable international fund houses. The funds cover different asset classes, including global equities, bonds, money markets and foreign exchange markets. We also provide asset management services for retirement schemes and institutional investors.

Our services are offered through a wide variety of trading channels - including designated branches and the Internet, as well as automated, manned and mobile phone trading.

We provide various structured products for investors as an alternative investment choice for enhancing their potential returns, while our currency-linked deposits and forex margin trading are able to provide investors with opportunities to capitalise on the FX market. Besides, we also offer bond investments to selected personal customer segments for a stable return.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated candidate to join our department as Assistant Investment Services Manager.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Compile regular business reports and updates for management
  • Support the daily administrative and secretarial routines for the team
  • Perform LAN administration for the department
  • Coordinate with and provide backup to other departments within the Investment Services business


Requirements

  • University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Candidate with lower education level or less working experience would be considered for the position as Assistant Officer.
  • Passes in HKSI licensing examinations preferred
  • Strong self-motivation, detail-minded and has the ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good in both written English and Chinese, proficiency in Excel application an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
