User Services Section

The appointee will be responsible for supervising a team of user support staff to provide IT services and support to members of the University. The scope of work includes coordinating with different teams of the Office in providing IT services, assisting users to resolve technical problems and providing consultancy on services / facilities offered by the Office. He/She will need to keep abreast of the latest IT solutions and trends, and recommend to IT Management on initiatives for improved service quality and end-user experience. As such, the appointee will also be expected to build up a close working relationship with colleagues of the Office as well as users in all departments.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, with at least six years of relevant work experience in IT service support, of which at least two years are at a supervisory level. Solid IT technical knowledge coupling with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory. Strong analytical mind, good command in English and Chinese, independence, and willingness to take up challenges are essential. Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of Senior IT Officer.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
