Assistant Legal Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all legal affairs especially with respect to real estate investment / property leasing and development activities. Able to negotiate, draft and implement lease contracts and agreement, identifying risks and legal implications
  • Provide legal advice, identify legal risks to protect the group’s rights and interests, ensuring that all legal risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Ensure all transactions are in compliant with internal and external regulations
  • Drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial agreements and contracts
  • Liaise with bank, external lawyers, and service providers for financing and investment activities applicable for a startup company.
  • Handle legal affairs of company restructure, merge and acquisition matters
  • Draft, review, prepare and evaluate legal documents, memorandum, board minutes/resolutions, reports, and/or filings.
  • Support in company secretarial work, general corporate commercial work and contentious matters and handle the company secretary work and documents
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies or legal counsels whenever necessary
  • Ad Hoc projects


  • Approximately 3 years' relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in handling commercial transactions, Hong Kong property transactions, property management matters and settlement of claims and disputes
  • Have an all-round legal experience from lease terms to employment law, corporate governance and startup financing activities
  • Able to work independently and have good legal drafting, negotiation, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-tasks.
  • Strong business acumen, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, and Chinese
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for L.
  • Immediately available would be an advantage
