Assistant Manager V Revenue Management (Analytics)

  • Create a revenue management culture for driving revenue by leading cross- departmental decision making to maximize all revenue streams by using statistical and competitive background information.
  • Implement sustainable and efficient revenue management processes and strategies for all ships, in order to optimize and maximize revenues.
  • Lead data related tasks including reporting, report automation procedures and competitive information gathering processes.
  • Provide and update business intelligence to Senior Management and other stakeholders on daily basis
  • Implement report automation procedures to ensure efficiency
  • Assist revenue managers to make business decisions based on data and facts (e.g. promotion tracking)
  • Understand demand periods and changes, all relevant business intelligence per market / feeder market, competitive intelligence etc.
  • Pick up analysis and business performance tracking
  • Monitor the business performance on a daily basis and highlight any irregular/inconsistent changes to ensure high accuracy of figures
  • Understand the business needs/requirements from Senior Management/Sales to prepare ad-hoc reports as well as the automation procedures by using various statistical tools
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of staff (Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Hotel Operations, Setup, RWAS, OBR)
  • Prepare presentation materials for Bi-weekly Commercial Meetings and facilitate Senior Management and Sales to make immediate business decisions during the meeting
  • Lead junior team members to complete various business tasks and fulfill the expectations from Manager



  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative discipline
  • Strong data and reporting skills with over 3 years of revenue experience. Travel industry background, with revenue management preferred
  • Experience with travel reservations systems is preferred.  Cruise industry system also a big plus.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred
  • Proficient in statistical and competitive analysis
  • Energetic with a positive attitude. Guest service and team oriented approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills
