Assistant Manager Compliance and Change (Procurement)

Reports to: Compliance and Change Manager
Department:  Procurement & Aircraft Trading (APD)

This position will be responsible to support the team on procurement transformational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Manager to develop and execute communication and content strategies to support the transformation procurement strategy
  • Produce reactive and proactive internal communications that support transformation and change on the end to end process and deepen users’ understanding of all relevant and critical information any new initiatives
  • Plan, edit and write holistic content on communications channel including our digital employee portal (The Hub), e-newsletters, digital screens, and other offline channels to engage procurement teams in Head office and subsidiaries
  • Support the department on departmental pages on The Hub as the central communications point – including content creation, improving the user experience
  • Responsible for common support channel monitoring and responses on Yammer on procurement processes
  • Use data analytics to measure success and improve quality of communication
  • Develop communication plans and drive effective teamwork and collaboration across head office business units and outport teams
  • Develop quality templates and guidelines to nurture procurement best practice
  • Build robust relationships with business units to understand their procurement needs and streamline the source-to-pay (S2P) process by designing efficient procurement mechanisms
  • Analyse purchasing and transaction data to identify category opportunities and to measure utilisation and effectiveness of category taxonomy
  • Drive stakeholder satisfaction by identifying value add and continuous improvement opportunities within the procure-to-pay process
  • Support the development of the procurement e-learning module
  • Manage functionality improvement, automation and digital transformation projects
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement systems and processes

Requirements

  • University graduate
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement transformation
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Experience with eLearning tools and digital content app an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Numerate and with good computer skills
  • Motivated to deliver accurate and quality work
