This position will be a member of the regional Corporate Communications team, playing a key role in driving and supporting internal communications activities across offices in Asia Pacific.He/she will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic/tactical communication plans to build and enhance employee’s understanding of the Company’s vision, mission, values, and corporate strategies.

He/she will also support reputation management through daily media monitoring and analysis of media output, and handle selected administrative duties

 

Job description and responsibilities:

Internal Communications

  • Develop and lead internal communications programs that are  aligned to our purpose, strategies and values, working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and offices with the APAC region
  • Engage employees through innovative, frequent and relevant communications, maximizing all available media, such as intranet, video, conference calls, town hall meetings, etc.
  • Update content of APAC Intranet on a regular basis.
  • Source, write, edit and coordinate stories for Newsletter for Employees on a regular basis;
  • Support employee communications for HR-led programs.
  • Organize  APAC All-Employees Town hall meeting and coordinate global town hall events by managing all aspects of logistics
  • Manage internal awards program.
  • Edit materials produced by others for internal and external publications.
  • Ensure effective use of tools and platforms that facilitate communications with employees.
  • Track and measure the digital delivery and impact of employee communications programs.

 

Research, News Monitoring and Activity/ Results Tracking

  • Daily media monitoring and coordinate the production and distribution of Weekly News Update
  • Track and analyze media coverage resulting from PR efforts
  • Coordinate the production of regional corporate communications monthly report  
  • Custodian of calendar of activities for corporate communications in APAC
  • Ad-hoc research on Megatrends or other topics to support content development, Executive communications when needed

 

Administrative Support

  • Work with vendors of communications infrastructure to ensure ROI and efficient utilization of tools (e.g. media monitoring platform, employee communications platform, news release distribution platform)
  • Coordinate monthly team meeting
  • Provide other administrative support when needed

 

Job requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Communications/English Studies
  • Highly developed English writing and editing skills
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in internal/ corporate communications, preferably with MNC or PR agency background
  • Experience in web/Intranet content development and management. Familiarity with Internet and digital communication tools, with basic HTML knowledge
  • Strong computer skills, including high proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Must be highly detailed oriented and focus on quality
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Willing to do administrative work related to the role
