Assistant Manager - Creative (worldwide brand)

We are looking for someone with the ability to engage and inspire internal and external partners with creative problem solving techniques and skills over product ideation to market delivery and taking into all steps in the process.

You will be able to Inspire and Drive Business through Creative Contents to move Product quality into a higher level and to provide creative support to Regional Teams within the region, ensuring Brand / Licensing objectives are achieved.

Brand / Creative Direction

  • Fully align the brand / creative direction with Brand Team / Creative Team at global and local markets
  • Communicate closely with local licensing teams, major licensees and marketing partners on the brand / creative direction
  • Ensure the application of brand / creative direction fully in line with brand / creative direction
  • Provide orientation program to marketing partners
  • Organize regular creative workshop to update the existing licensees and marketing partners the latest brand / creative direction for product, styleguides, packaging, retail and marketing


Product Development

  • Work closely with local licensing teams and licensees on product development (categories i.e. sports goods, packaging, toys, computer/electronic accessories etc)
  • Provide creative direction on graphic / design application
  • Ensure the product assortments (in terms of positioning, design and quality) in line with the agreed business & brand direction
  • Develop seasonal trend reports (from each local markets)
  • Develop concept ideas for new business development
  • Develop the best style-guides for Asia Pacific

Retail & Marketing

  • Implement the global brand direction on retail image incl. store image, visual merchandising
  • Ensure local marketing materials fully in line with global brand direction incl. POP, print / outdoor
  • Provide support to local marketing activities i.e. event, promotion etc.


  • Diploma holder of Graphic Design / Product Design
  • Experience, Knowledge, Skills Required:
  • 10+ years’ of design experience preferably with international brands
  • Licensing industry experience/exposure an advantage
  • Excellent inter-personal, communications
  • Good written and verbal English
  • Excellent Computer skill - Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator programs a Must
  • Strong design sense in product and graphics
  • Be innovative, problem solver
  • Good team player who also possess initiative, independence and sound judgment
  • Solid “can do" attitude with positive outlook
  • Attention to details, follow tasks through to completion.
