Responsible for overall daily accounting and financial operations
ln charge of external audit, tax compliance filings and other regulatory or compliance needs
Prepare financial and management reports
Handle day-to-day tax compliance matters, including but not limited to annual profit tax filing, tax provision, income tax forecast managing tax audits, and liaise with tax authorities, etc.
Ensure data integrity, suggest improvements to strengthen existing financial systems and analytical tools to enhance efficiency
Act as a business partner and collaborate with other business units in relation to both financial and operational matters
Assist in managing ad-hoc assignments/ projects as required
Motivation and development of own team through technical guidance and coaching
University graduate with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in tax or financial reporting gained from sizable multi-national corporations. Experience in Big 4 CPA firms is preferred
Exposure in property industry is highly preferred
Basic commercial awareness, good understanding of procedures and principles such as broad HKFRS knowledge and relevant tax regulations, analytical mindset with strong attention to details
Excellent information management, organizational, problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Independent, self-motivated, capable to handle tight timeline, ability to handle multi-tasks and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests
High competence in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
Well versed in MS Office and experience in using SAP is an advantage
