OB DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will be expected to deliver a full range of generalist and/or specialist HR services that are aligned with the business objectives of departments/BUs/ subsidiaries in the Hong Kong Office

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all HR spectrum of the company and subsidiaries, covering talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and engagement, learning and development, and organization development to provide quality services to departments in both Hong Kong head office and worldwide offices
  2. Review, establish and implement HR policies & procedures so as to in line with management guideline and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
  3. Provide business partnering to line managers of both Hong Kong head office and worldwide offices
  4. Plan and execute end-to-end recruitment activities in order to achieve effective hiring results to support business needs of the designated departments
  5. Process and administer the monthly payroll including the all kinds of special payment, allowance, bonus, MPF contributions and final payment. Process and administer the whole process of salaries tax filing. Handle income tax related issues, including preparing correspondences and calculation of tax equalization
  6. Facilitate and execute the cyclical HR activities in the relevant departments, such as End of Year Process Review, Annual Salary adjustments, Performance Management, Promotions and Succession Planning exercise etc
  7. Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training
  8. Review existing workflow and ensure proper documentation has recorded and approval guidelines are followed
  9. Set up HRIS system in line with the department functions
  10. Provide professional advice and support to line managers of both Hong Kong head office and worldwide offices on employee-related issues, and ensure the HR practices are in line with the relevant laws of Hong Kong or our worldwide offices
  11. Handle HR projects and any ad hoc assignment

Requirements:

  1. University graduate preferably in the discipline of Human Resources Management alternatively Business Administration
  2. Minimum 5-8 years of HR Management experience with MNCs background as a HR generalist preferably with focus as a generalist
  3. Well versed with HR practices preferably with regional exposure
  4. HR project management and solid understanding of HR Policies is a must
  5. Strong organizational, analytical and presentation skills, and good numeric sense.
  6. Able to work independently and under pressure, manage multi-tasks and work under tight time frame
  7. High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
  8. Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  9. Well organized, people oriented, proactive and meticulous
  10. Able to work under fast paced environment
  11. Less experienced candidates can also be considered Assistant Manager
  12. Perform ad- hoc projects as assigned
  13. Immediate available is highly preferred
