Assistant Manager / Manager, Business Continuity Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the ongoing Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) against AXA Standards
  • Contribute to applying continuous updates / improvements to meet compliance requirements
  • Act as the BCM Lead in coordinating with business the ongoing maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
  • Develop and lead training courses for awareness and understanding of BCM, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and BCP maintenance.
  • Ensure relevant training for the Crisis Management Team (CMT)
  • Assist in Vendor Security Due Diligence (VSDD)
  • Define and document project plans, action plans, anticipate roadblocks and propose solutions
  • Lead projects relating to business process design, systems integration and risk analysis to identify business continuity weaknesses
  • Work with Departments to mitigate identified risks
  • Perform market research on the latest trends in security system implementation and provide solution to any possible security threats
  • Provide local oversight to ensure Facilities Services are in place and specific plans are developed and executed
  • Formulate and execute innovative ideas to improve operational efficiencies with close monitoring in budget

Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualified, preferably in Business, Finance, IT/Engineering or related disciplines
  • 6+ years experience / background in BCP is essential
  • BCM professional qualification advantageous
  • Good Business Impact Analysis (BIA) skills
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure & disaster recovery highly advantageous
  • Experience in Customer Service Operations advantageous
  • Able to communicate to all levels of the organization, including technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
