Assistant Manager / Manager, Market Risk (Trading Book)

The successful candidate will provide analysis and support to Treasury Risk Management related tasks. S/he will be required to perform day-to-day risk limits monitoring on Bank's portfolios, as well as to conduct risk assessments on Bank's portfolios and handle risk management related enquiries from traders and stakeholders.


  • Identify and quantify market and liquidity risk exposures associated with Bank's activities. Ensure proper escalation, authorization and reporting for any limit excesses
  • Conduct stress tests on several risk factors on regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Liaise, build relationship and communicate effectively with traders and stakeholders
  • Review limit structures, policies and procedures to ensure business meets the up-to-date regulatory standards and requirements


  • Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Quantitative Analysis or related disciplines
  • A keen interest of financial markets and market risk
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in Asset and Liability Management, Finance or Risk Management areas
  • Good understanding of FX, Rates and Fixed Income products is preferred
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent with organization and problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify innovative approach to existing work methods. Encourage and support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Strong computer skills particularly in Excel and VBA (hands-on experience in treasury system would be a plus)
