Major Responsibilities

  • Prepare clearing house rules, operating procedures and business agreements etc., and follow up with all legal related issues
  • Liaise with external parties, e.g. the HKMA, HKAB, the settlement institutions of clearing and settlement systems in Hong Kong, banks and legal advisers, etc., for devising the mentioned documents
  • Assist in exploring and developing new business and improvement opportunities
  • Assess and advise the practicality of technical initiatives from business perspective
  • Compile and conduct presentation for meeting purpose
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and managing new projects among user groups and formulating business processes and service plans
  • Liaise with IT teams and user groups on user requirements, computer application design and its implementation, problem solving and training
  • Participate in user acceptance testing upon request
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • University education in business administration, banking or finance-related discipline or information technology
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial sector with relevant experience in project management and drafting of policies and operating procedures, preferably with exposure to clearing and settlement systems
  • Strong business analytical and project management skills
  • Good command of written English, and fluency in spoken English and Putonghua
  • Able to work under pressure to meet the tight timelines
