Job responsibilities:

  1. Manage the staff of Marketing and Communications Team
  2. Assist the Head with the development of policies to ensure cost-effective, efficient, accountable and ethical fundraising practices
  3. Make strategic recommendations to the Head on how to enhance the agency's fundraising performance based on existing data and experience, and conduct fundraising activity cost/benefit analysis
  4. Initiate new opportunities for fundraising events and projects to diversify the source of income
  5. Plan, organise and manage the execution of events to attain fund raising targets
  6. Manage AIDS Concern’s existing portfolio of fundraising activities including signature events, corporate partnerships, etc. And to maximise their potential of revenue generation
  7. Build up new warm contacts and enhance relationships with AIDS Concern's existing donors, patrons, ambassadors and stakeholders 
  8. Continue to build the monthly donation programme
  9. Facilitate internal partnerships with AIDS Concern’s Programme Teams to integrate marketing and communication concepts across the agency
  10. Any ad-hoc projects as required
  11. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Manager of Marketing and Communications

Job requirements:

  1. University graduate or above preferably in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications related disciplines
  2. Minimum 5-years’ experience in marketing, sales or event management. With 2-years’ supervisory experience among them
  3. Experience in working in NGO preferred
  4. Strong business sense and numerical acumen
  5. Proactive, and sociable with strong presentation, communications and negotiation skills
  6. Fluent in English and Cantonese  (written and spoken). Mandarin an advantage
  7. Self-motivated and adaptive to change
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and social media platform operations
