The incumbent will be responsible to manage and develop smooth operation process, strengthen the control of policy administration operation, and provide guidance and support to the team on policy administration and underwriting of non-medical personal lines products, to achieve operation efficiency and sales target, strive for customer service excellence and ensure business quality.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation process to maintain effective and quality policy administration including underwriting, policies issuance, premium payment, renewals, reinsurance applications, and enquiry hotline for all GI products
  • Provide guidance and solution to the team in meeting underwriting and administration guidelines and service standard and compliance of corporate standard
  • Monitor and strengthen underwriting process of non-medical personal lines products and ensure policy acceptance to be within the underwriting guidelines and business requirement
  • Design system projects and enhancements to enhance team operational efficiency and service level according to business objectives
  • Maintain and review standard administration procedures and guidelines to strengthen quality service delivery
  • Design and prepare reports and analysis to monitor operation efficiency, business production and portfolio mix
  • Develop and coach staff to strengthen technical knowledge and promote quality services deliverables


Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder and with professional qualification in insurance industry (ACII or ANZIIF) is preferred
  • 5-7 years of working experience in insurance industry, preferably 1-2 years in managerial level
  • Experience in insurance policy administration and managing team
  • Concrete knowledge in general insurance with solid experience in personal lines underwriting and/or policy administration.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Customer focused and result oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and people management skills.
  • Self-initiated and able to inspire and motivate subordinates.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in MS applications (Excel & Word)
