Position Description

With the mission of Pregnant Girls Service - “A safe place where pregnant girls in crisis are embraced, equipped and empowered for a hopeful future". We are looking for a Assistant Manager who s/he plays the role in managerial level in terms of assisting manager to oversee overall operation, administration and financial aspects of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement service specific operation protocol and standard with regular monitoring and audit
  • Coordinate with supporting departments on service operation, covering facility and resource management, maintenance and procurement
  • Collaborate with cross departments in building up community networks with external significant stakeholders (i.e. peer agencies and community partners) and mobilizing available resources (i.e. volunteers, donations and inventory) to support service
  • Assist manager on department program development including hotline, hostel and corporate engagement with evaluation
  • Assist manager on grant application and liaise with fundraising team and reporting
  • Oversee departmental administrative procedures in alignment with agency policy and procedures
  • Oversee departmental financial performance against budget 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Social Work, Social Science, Health Care or any related disciplines; with at least 3 years solid supervisory experience, preferably in the field of social service
  • Demonstrated experience in project management planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination within agreed timeframe
  • Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
  • Qualities of flexibility and adaptability to meet changes and challenges
  • Proficient in computer skills, independent, detailed-minded, highly organized and self-driven
  • Strong leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English & Chinese
  • High qualification in quality & risk management would be an advantage
  • Experience in overseeing/ surpervising residential care
