Assistant Manager, Remittance and Settlement (Remittance)

Responsibilities:

  • Check and authorize inward remittance & outward remittance transactions submitted via various channels within required service standard
  • Coordinate with branches and departments in resolving daily operational issues
  • Handle telephone enquiries raised by customers, RBD, CBD, PBD and any internal departments
  • Support other team in handling post transaction follow up issues for business units & customers
  • Assist to prepare daily and monthly reporting if any
  • Report irregularities to supervisors and Department Head timely
  • Assist to provide training and coaching to subordinates
  • Perform other duties assigned by managers or Department Head from time to time
  • Perform administrative works and regular or ad hoc reporting timely for department head

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Banking / Business Administration / Finance/ Management
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in Banking industry or financial institution, with supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, people management and analytical skills
  • Mature and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Innovative and self-initiative
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
