Assistant Manager (School of B&A) / Academic Support Officer

Major Duties

For Assistant Manager (School of B&A), the appointee will mainly administer and coordinate the development of courses and programmes offered by the School, liaise with partners of the School, handle student related administrative duties, provide secretarial support to committees, assist in the promotion of programmes and courses, organize events hosted by the School and the Institute of International Business and Governance (IIBG), support the operation of IIBG and to perform any other duties as assigned.

For Academic Support Officer, the appointee(s) will be responsible for providing support to deliver programmes offered by the School, including those conducted in mainland China and/or delivered in distance learning mode; for supporting committee work and daily activities of the School and for assisting in the liaison with both internal and external parties, including overseas partners, especially in relation to programme promotion.


For Assistant Manager (School of B&A), applicants should have a recognized degree with at least 2 years’ of relevant post-qualification experience. They should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

For Academic Support Officer, applicants should possess a recognized bachelor’s degree with some administrative experience and exposure in the tertiary education sector. Good computer, organization, interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua) are also required.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a trade test.

Pay & Benefits Package

Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, where applicable.
