Assistant Manager / Senior Accountant, Audit Quality Assurance
Job MatcherYou will:
- Assist the audit technical team to carry out different tasks to uphold the quality of the firm's engagements.
- Assist in all aspects of audit engagements including planning, administration, staff scheduling, execution and closely monitoring engagement progress.
- Respond to queries and assist to provide guidance, coaching and constructive feedback to team members.
- Liaise with other internal functions to ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures within the practice.
- Assist in performing audit quality assurance reviews.
- Responsible for review and keep abreast of latest regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent overseas leading professional accountants institutes is preferred but not essential
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in assurance standards and financial reporting regulatory environment
- Good knowledge of risk management with relevant experience
- Advanced report writing skills in English and Chinese
- Excellent oral communication skills in both Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commitment to quality
