This Candidate shall assist the Director, Venue Service Planning and Delivery to plan, direct and oversee the delivery of events hosted at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) according to the planned schedule, resources commitment and contractual agreement. The role will also assist to facilitate the cross functional teams to overcome any technical, operational and branding issues to ensure smooth delivery of event while protecting the interest of AWE.
This Candidate shall also assist in providing professional advice, problem solving & sales services to event organizers on AWE’s products, including but not limited to venue rental, visual & audio services, technical production services, crowd management services, term collaboration etc.
Assist in delivery with all the successful execution with the proper planning
Based on the contract, develop a project management plan for each event to lay down the project schedule and resources commitment
Identify and sort out any technical and operational issues with close collaboration with cross-functional teams
Understand the requirements of event organisers and assist to provide professional advice on relevant event
Assist in onsite duty to handle operational matters, where working under flexible schedule may be required according to the event calendar
Assist in ad hoc projects
Degree in Business, Hospitality, Hotel management or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 year relevant operational leadership and project management experience (Preferably in Exhibition, Event or Hotel management field)
Strong communication skills and problem solving skills
Excellent team player who can assist to orchestrates cross-department functional team operations
Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Self-motivated, customer-oriented, willing to learn, responsible and organized
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer
