Assistant Manager/Manager, Sponsorship and Marketing Campaign

Position Objective:

Manage or assist to manage corporate sponsorships and events, from opportunity identification and review, planning, implementation, stakeholder management, and post-mortem review,  to achieve business objectives

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review sponsorship and events opportunities and make recommendations for management’s decision
  • Plan and execute the events and initiatives on time, within budget, that meet key stakeholders’ expectations
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction, both internal and external, and quality delivery
  • Engage with distribution channels and other key stakeholders to fully leverage the sponsorship and events activities to deliver business results
  • Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every events and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain suppliers’ relationships
  • Monitor risks and issues of the events and initiatives, and escalate to management for resolution where appropriate
  • Compile, manage and optimise the ROI of all strategic sponsorships

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University graduate
  • Minimum  8 years (Manager)/ 5 years (Assistant Manager) relevant working experience in financial services, insurance or related industry
  • Project team management experience and/or sponsorship and event management experience preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and able to communicate with senior executives effectively
  • Excellent ability in developing working relationships with people within and outside the organisation
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
