The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers 21 innovative degree programmes across our 3 Faculties of Design and Environment, Management and Hospitality and Science and Technology that are vocationally and professionally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and also accredited by the relevant professional bodies where appropriate. THEi prepares Work Ready, Future Ready graduates through our strong applied degree and professional education programmes. All programmes require work integrated learning (WIL) and engage students in active learning pedagogies including a strong focus on project-based learning involving real-world problem solving with and for local industries and professions. (a) Assist in the implementation of the Institute’s publicity and promotion strategies;
(b) Coordinate the production of OOH/ DOOH, print advertisement and video production;
(c) Responsible for the production, edit and review of marketing collaterals and promotional materials, such as leaflets, posters and banners;
(d) Prepare press releases, advertorial, speeches, and other communications materials;
(e) Coordinate and organise institutes events including graduation ceremonies and education expos;
(f) Handle development and production of corporate souvenirs
(g) Conduct market research studies; and
(h) Undertake committee work in various meetings, committees and boards.
(a) A recognised degree or equivalent qualification;
(b) At least 2 years’ post-degree relevant work experience at supervisory or executive level, preferably in the fields of corporate communications, marketing communications, advertising, journalism, and/or event management;
(c) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua;
(d) Relevant experience in tertiary education institutions would be an advantage;
(e) Knowledge in video production and graphic design would be an advantage;
(f) Good communication, inter-personal, organisational and administrative skills; and
(g) A pro-active approach and ability to work independently.
(1) The post is in the rank of Officer.
(2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend and pass a written test in Chinese and English.
(3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays.
(4) The appointee(s) will work on Chai Wan Campus.
(5) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi), a member institution of the Vocational Training Council, is established for the advancement, promotion and development of education suited to the developing needs of Hong Kong. THEi provides quality self-financed programmes with a strong vocational orientation at degree and above levels and admitted its first cohort of students in September 2012. It comprises the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Management & Hospitality, the Faculty of Science & Technology, and a Department of General Education.
