The job:

  • Assist the Distribution Planning & Performance team to create business intelligence and support the team to deliver accurate reports and useful analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on agency performance and initiative tracking

  • Support daily operations of data verification, data manipulation and database maintenance

  • Support data analysis and /or data extraction requests

  • Provide user requirement and perform user acceptance test

  • Handle admin tasks within the working team

  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor

The person:

  • University degree holder in a quantitative field (e.g. Computing Science, Finance, Statistics or Business Administration) or related discipline

  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in areas of data mining/analysis

  • Knowledge in Insurance business and operations will be a definite advantage

  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing (Advanced knowledge of EXCEL preferred)

  • Strong analytical skill, problem solving skill and good presentation skills

  • Good time management skills

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
