Assistant Officer (Ref. 21072108-E)
The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist in the development of internship opportunities for students and employment opportunities for graduates, especially in overseas countries;
(b) plan and implement marketing programmes, and manage regular analyses and reports;
(c) obtain industry and market information from various sources and support the development of a knowledge based system;
(d) manage the database and develop strategies for employer’s relationship management and account servicing;
(e) support Global Internship Programmes with emphasis on effectively communicating with overseas institutions;
(f) work closely with inbound international students on internship exchange programmes;
(g) draft and compile documents / reports / replies to enquiries and complaints whenever necessary;
(h) travel to overseas countries or Chinese mainland to maintain connections with leading organisations; and
(i) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students or his/her delegates.
(a) have a recognised degree, preferably in Human Resources, Marketing or other relevant disciplines;
(b) have at least three years’ working experience, preferably in working with university students;
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English;
(d) be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken Chinese;
(e) have strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well as interest in student development; and
(f) be a strong team player with a high level of flexibility and be result-oriented.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
