Assist business units to implement and maintain operational risk management tools to help identifying, assessing, monitoring and controlling operational risk
Conduct reviews to identify possible operational risks and provide recommendations to address the control weaknesses; monitor the implementation progress of the enhanced controls
Conduct due diligence pertaining to new products/services as well as insourced/outsourced activities; give advice on operational risk management matters.
Work closely with business / support units to effectively manage operational risk in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
Degree holder or above with major in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related disciplines
Holder of relevant Professional Qualification will be an advantage
At least 5 years operational risk management experience or experience in control,auditing or procedural review with in-depth knowledge in banking operations of designated banking business segment(s)
Logical thinking and good analytical skill
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and a good team player as well
Good communication skills (including Cantonese, Mandarin and English) and proven report writing experience in Chinese
