Should you join our Insurance business, you will focus on maintaining close relationships with our corporate and individual customers, and providing them with premium service. You will also be expected to develop new insurance products and distribution channels to meet the changing needs of customers in a dynamic environment.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Operations and Control Manager.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Perform investment operation functions, including deal matching, affirmations / confirmations, events processing, reconciliation and transaction substantiation
  • Maintain investment records in system and prepare investment management information / reports
  • Perform investment settlement functions, including fund transfer and investment related expenses
  • Maintain bank and investment accounts with fund managers
  • Perform regular check on adherence to the investment policies / guidelines
  • Liaise with relevant parties to complete bank reconciliation and other policy related balances reconciliation for life insurance business
  • Follow up the outstanding suspense balances on a timely basis
  • Work closely with business to produce policy related statistics and surveys
  • Participate in the projects related to investment/insurance initiative and system enhancements
  • Implement operational procedures to comply with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Support other ad hoc tasks when required

 

Requirements

  • University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
  • At least 2-5 years of working experience in investment back office operations with good knowledge of insurance products preferred
  • Strong self-motivation and attentiveness to details
  • Eager to learn, with ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge in system for investment back office operations will be an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Willingness to work on flexi-hours and public holidaysGreat sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
