We are looking for aspiring individuals to join our dynamic team to fill the following position:

Assistant PR & Events Manager, HAF (4 months)

  • Monitor and follow up the progress and schedule of publicity and promotion schemes;
  • Assist in event coordination and management such as deployment plan, working schedule, event rundown, etc;
  • Source and obtain quotations from contractors and manage their performance;
  • Follow up and co-ordinate with PR agency for the preparation of press releases, speeches, newsletters and editing of marketing and PR materials; arrange interviews for senior staff, guests, VIPs and filmmakers; co-ordinate news clippings and any record of media coverage with PR agency;
  • Co-operate with production houses and other service providers to provide accurate reports to management from time to time;
  • Represent the Society in negotiating with external parties on production related matters; and
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and / or management from time to time.


  • University graduate or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in PR and event management;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Good knowledge of the international film industry, in particular Asia, and good acquaintance with film industry professionals;
  • Good acquaintance and relationship with media;
  • Excellent command of design softwares such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator;
  • Good knowledge of editing softwares such as Final Cut Pro and Premiere is an advantage;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua, knowledge of other languages will be an advantage;
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and
  • Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.

The above position is offered on temporary contract terms only.
