Assistant PR Manager, Hotel

This upscale trendy hospitality business with highly sought brands in their portfolio is looking to grow their business, the long-established business is a member of a wider listed business portfolio investments in property, food and beverage and other services in Hong Kong and China.

Report to the General Manager, the Assistant Public Relations Manager will take charge of the Public Relations and Marketing Communications activities, to maximize awareness and exposure for the hotel.

 

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute PR and Marketing communications strategies to generate awareness and exposure for the hotel
  • Maintain good relationship with both local and overseas media
  • Develop press release and content for media and various social media channels
  • Work closely with the General Manager to understand the hotel business
  • In charge of over marketing expenses P&L
  • Identify new partnerships opportunities

 

Requirements

  • University graduate in journalism, communication, public relations or related discipline, with at least 5 years' hospitality PR and events management experience
  • Strong network with lifestyle media and bloggers
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Highly independent, self-initiative and creative
  • Able to work multi-tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure
