Assistant Procurement Officer

We are looking for high calibre and dynamic professionals for our client, a Hong Kong leading provider of construction equipment.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Process the purchasing orders according to corporate guidelines 
  • Handle the quotations, review and analyze the options, and negotiate with vendors to render the best deals for the company 
  • Liaise closely with vendors and other departments for procurement matters 
  • Develop vendor database, while maintain good relationship with vendors  
  • Assist in formulating purchasing plan and handle purchasing related matters

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or above preferably in Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies or related subjects
  • At least 1 year’s procurement experience
  • Exposure in construction industry / civil engineering is an advantage
  • Familiar with MS Office and Chinese WP
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese, English and Mandarin
  • Good at details, able to work independently and under pressure
