Assistant Product Developer (Yarn Sourcing)

  • Conduct trend & images research for presentation
  • Prepare for buying trip presentation and the presentation materials, including presentation boards and yarn books
  • Prepare presentation catalogs for each season by performing quality cutting and layout
  • Develop, maintain and update Yarn Library
  • Update Yarn Library in company intranet
  • Engage in hangtag design
  • Undertake stitching development and yarn development
  • Prepare trend & buying trip reports
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams 


  • Diploma in Clothing / textiles / fabric studies or above
  • Around 1-2 years’ experience in relevant field 
  • Familiar with UK garment market is advantageous
  • Good sense of UK fashion trends with strong fashion eyes for yarn development
  • Knowledge & experience in yarn is a must
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin, good computer knowledge
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive, responsible, decisive working style and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
