Assistant Product Manager

Your Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities of this position.
  • Implement product strategy for the assigned brands in the Vaccines Business Unit, to deliver short and long term objectives
  • Work synergistically with cross functional teams to maximize responsible brands’ value
  • Provide tactical marketing support to the sales team eg. Product training, promotional tactics and campaign
  • Develop and implement Brand marketing plan and quarterly action plan.
  • Develop product communication strategies and marketing tactics
  • Understand and execute supply forecasting from the commercial perspective
  • Plan, organize, and monitor marketing activities to support sales promotion and customer service Conduct product training and competitive review for salespersons
  • Embed ADP tools and thinking in daily activities
  • Work closely with internal departments, agencies and other parties to put in place effective marketing programmes
  • Work closely with Medical Department in product regulatory and clinical research issues
  • Live GSKs values and push the team forward to becoming the most admired healthcare company in HK

Accountability:
  • Primary deliverables of role; it's scope; impact on strategy, policy, business or people relationships
  • Implement quarterly action Plan, based on the objectives & timetable agreed in the marketing Plan;
  • Establish close links with external key stakeholders and thought leaders to facilitate product strategy implementation.
  • Monitor sales and inventory to produce a monthly demand forecast
  • P&L responsibilities for the assigned products
  • Leverage network of external and internal resources to deliver branded related company objectives

Complexity:
  • degree of change & uncertainty; level of influencing required; degree of matrix working
  • Implement well defined marketing tactics with the support from superior
  • Collaborative role to franchise related sales team and PR in a well defined context

• At least 4 years experience in pharmaceutical/ healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in marketing, analytics and strategic planning
  • Flexible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A results-orientated approach to work with the ability to meet very tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a complex matrix of relationships, interfaces and issues
  • Absolute commitment to the highest ethical standards and accountability for individual actions

Preferred qualifications:
• MBA preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience in the marketing of vaccine products
