Major Duties :
(a) To assist in the following areas:
(i) master planning of the Council’s campuses;
(ii) planning, design and construction supervision of new premises / capital projects of the Council;
(iii) preparation of presentation materials and drawings for the new premises / capital projects;
(iv) design development, implementation and coordination of the new premises / capital projects;
(v) preparation of contract drawings, contract documents and schedules for construction; and
(vi) management of consultants and contractors; and
(b) To prepare and update computerised records and progress reports.
(a) A recognized master’s degree in architecture or equivalent (recognised by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA)), preferably a qualified Architect recognised by the HKIA, the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Australian Institute of Architects or the American Institute of Architects;
(b) At least 3 years’ work experience in planning, design and/or construction supervision of building projects;
(c) High proficiency in AutoCAD and 3-D architecture software, preferably 3ds Max Design, Rhino or SketchUp;
(d) Highly skilled in producing presentations and drawings;
(e) Good knowledge of planning and design of institutional buildings; and
(f) Practical knowledge of current planning and building codes and regulations.
