Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical Handling Equipment & System
For 29 years, we have been a successful and well-established Specialist Contractor with high professional standing in the Construction Industry, engaged in large scale government / institutional building and infra-structure, public utilities and commercial projects including various HKIA, HKIE and QBA award projects. We have in-house design, project management, testing, production workshop and maintenance capabilities and facilities. Job Duties:
- Reports to the Department Manager & leads a team of engineers & site supervisors for the design & installation of medium to large scale M & E equipment or plant projects
- Organizes his/her team members to work coherently & effectively
- Plans project work & monitors the progress according to tight schedule
- Deals with all contractual matters with clients, subcontractors & suppliers
- Responsible for project cost control & payment
Job Requirements:
- Have a long term career objective & wish to work in a well-established organization
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Marine Engineering
- Minimum 8 years' experience in M & E equipment or plant projects, with minimum 3 years in a supervisory position
- Excellent leadership & management skill
- Good initiative & self-disciplined
- Good command of both written & spoken English & Chinese
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Senior Engineer
