Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager

Job Description:

- Regularly review the site work progress to ensure that it is completed to Master Programme, short term programme and managing the time/interface constraints, devise catch up measures where necessary

- Supervise the construction of the project to meet the required quality in the specification and drawings so as to avoid rework both during construction and the defects liability periods

- Lead the coordination work for the construction work among all staff and other project stakeholders and resolving any problems during the construction work

- Undertake liaison with the subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of areas/interfaces to the requisite standards for handover

- Coordinate and supervise the work of all subcontractors to comply with the Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental requirements

- Make sure all staffs cooperate, understand and carry out their duties in accordance with the Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental Management Plan and Project Manager Handbook

- Liaise with the Client and relevant consultants including meeting attendance to ensure the works satisfy their requirements

- Review, sign and allocate follow up action for outgoing and incoming correspondence to and from the Architect's Representative, consultants, subcontractors and major Suppliers in conjunction with the Project Manager

- Manage, supervise and monitor the quality of the document control and filing system in compliance with the Project Quality Plan and Project Manager Handbook

- In charge of preparation of all documents, schedule of work and liaison with the Architect for FS Inspection, OP Inspection and Handover to Client

- Coordinate, supervise and ensure the timely preparation of O&M manual, as fitting drawings and all documents required for the Project Completion

- Assess and report on the performance of staff and assign duties and responsibilities according to their capabilities and the needs of the project

- Implement formal liaison mechanisms with neighborhood to minimize any impact generated from site works to the public

- Carry out the duties as required in the Quality, Safety and Environment manual and Project Manager Handbook

- Supervise and direct project team members

 

Requirements:

- 8 yrs relevant exp.

- 4 yrs exp. in mgt level of main field

- 2 yrs exp. as CKFC Site Agent

- High Dip/ Degree in Bldg Studies/ Civil Engineering or equivalent

- Knowledge of BIM, BEAM PLUS

- TCP (4)

 

Candidate with difference working experience will be considered as Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager.
