The Centre is looking for a highly competent, enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the publicity and conference matters relating to the project titled “Support for Ethnic Minority Students in Local Kindergartens for Effective Learning of Chinese".
The appointee will be responsible for planning and executing different events to promote the project outcomes and to raise awareness about ethnic minority students learning Chinese in kindergartens. He/she will required to plan and execute events; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders from different sectors; develop and implement publicity and social media plans to accomplish project objectives and goals of the events; produce high-quality promotion materials; develop effective strategies to increase engagement with target participants; manage human and financial resources, logistics and vendors to ensure standard and quality; handle evaluation and reporting matters of the events; and assist on ad hoc duties and administrative tasks and perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Leader. The appointment will be for a period of 2 years.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree holder in related disciplines, with not less than 7 years’ post-qualification working experience, and proven evidence of coordinating and delivering international events. The applicants should be highly proficient in both English and Chinese, attentive to details, self-motivated, and can work independently. He/she should also have good communication and interpersonal skills, a flexible approach to work, and excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
