Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Chevalier (Aluminium Engineering) Limited, a subsidiary of Chevalier Group, is now inviting high calibre persons to apply for this position:

Responsibilities 

• Prepare cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimations, material and labour cost involved
• Prepare cost plans to enable design team to develop practical designs for construction projects
• Review tender and contract documents, including taking-off quantities
• Responsible for evaluation and preparation of variation submission
• Monitor the project progress and assist in the valuation of variations
• Liaise with project team for contractual issues such as reviewing and drafting correspondences, dispute resolution, etc
• Assist in the settlement of final accounts

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Able to work under tight schedule and pressure
• Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in PC applications (e.g. MS Excel, Words, Project, PowerPoint etc)
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Quantity Surveyor
