Our client, a Western supermarket is now looking for a high calibre for the following position:

 

Assistant Store Manager/ Store Manager (Shenzhen or Shanghai) (25-35K, Nego. with exp.)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all operation in the supermarket, including sales, gross profit, operating costs, commodity losses, profits, inventory, etc
  • Monitoring store merchandise purchase acceptance, inventory management, merchandise display, cleaning and financial management
  • Responsible for store management and staff development, including team building and training
  • Handling customer complaints appearing in daily operations
  • Implementation of promotional activities, plan and price adjustment 
  • Responsible for equipment, inventory and other assets
  • Improve efficiency in the use of equipment and ensure energy-saving
  • Responsible for staff recruitment, transfer, promotion, rewards and punishments.
  • Report to upper management for store operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of supermarket management experience
  • Understand the supermarket industry and the trend of high-end retail formats 
  • Knowledge of supermarket industry with strong data analysis capabilities and sensitive with the market
  • Basic legal knowledge of the retail industry
  • Good communication skills, organizational skills and ability to judge accurately
  • Able to handle the daily affairs of supermarket management
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Station in Shenzhen or Shanghai
