DEPARTMENT OF CHINESE AND BILINGUAL STUDIES
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide IT/AV support to staff and students of the Department in learning, teaching, research, administrative and promotional activities;
(b) perform routine maintenance of the Department’s computing facilities and IT/AV equipment;
(c) develop and assist in enhancing and maintaining systems, including software, hardware, AV facilities and networks;
(d) develop and maintain web applications and websites; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his/her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on Saturdays and Sundays.
(a) have a recognised degree, or a recognised certificate/diploma plus at least five years of relevant experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese and be fluent in Putonghua;
(c) be able to work independently, and be proactive and self-motivated; and
(d) have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
