Assistant Vice President – Workforce Strategies Employee Compensation Placement Team

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and reviewing the Employees’ Compensation (EC) Placement Strategy
  • Need to forge strong relationships with the Employees’ Compensation Insurance market to leverage business opportunities
  • Need to ensure accurate data is maintained on all EC placements for Marsh to improve portfolio management, drive greater yield from insurers and benchmark performance
  • Complete monthly state of the market report, keeping abreast of developments in the market and impacts on the business as well as clients
  • Ensure the Workforce Strategies (WFS) Placement Team meet all administration requirements and practice; revenue procedures (e.g. timesheets, expenses and debtors)
  • Pro-actively support the achievement of all business targets as specified in the business plan
  • Participate in the development of new business/market opportunities for the consulting practice and as assigned to the WFS Placement Team
  • Liaise with management in relation to the innovation and development of new products to capitalise on market opportunities for the team
  • Research and develop new product offerings in conjunction with the WFS team to expand grow the business


Job Requirements:


  • Tertiary Qualifications in related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in handling insurance placements within broking environment, or EC underwriting fields
  • Experience of handing negotiation with underwriters for best terms and conditions to our clients around EC placements
  • Good understanding of policies, contracts and Facilities
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
