Responsibilities

  • Formulate, review and update the bank-wide credit policies, procedure and guidelines in line with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as the Group’s standard
  • Work with the Bank’s risk, operational and frontline departments to execute proper credit risk management of retail loan products
  • Perform comprehensive portfolio review for credit policies formulation and risk acceptance criteria setting for retail loan products
  • Ensure the standards and quality of the credit assessments prepared by credit underwriter are adhered to the Bank’s credit policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assess credit proposals within his authority delegated in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure proper credit risk mitigation measures are in place and will be duly executed
  • Monitor the implementation of rectifications and enhancement measures related to credit risk management
  • Compile management reports on risk management and compliance related area
  • Review gap analysis in relation to the latest regulatory requirements
  • Provide review and assessment in new product/ product change

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant banking experience
  • Qualification in ECF is preferred
  • Good knowledge in credit risk management and credit analysis relating to retail and private banking products, such as mortgage loan, insurance policy financing, funds, structure products and etc
  • Good writing skills and people management skills
  • Strong self-motivation with good business sense, risk management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
