Assistant Vice President, Credit Appraisal (Retail & Personal)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and review credit applications of retail products for approval, renewal and extension of loans
  • Liaise with leading units to resolve credit issues and expedite the process
  • Possess thorough understanding of changes in applicable regulations, rules and guidelines
  • Prepare various MIS reports for the management‘s review
  • Ensure credit facilities adhere to the Bank’s internal credit policies/guidelines as well as external regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in credit approval for retail products
  • Sound knowledge of lending products, in particular, mortgage loan
  • Good understanding of market practice and banking regulation in HK
  • Self-motivated and detail-minded with strong risk control senses and analytical skills
  • Strong in written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is preferable
